TERMS & CONDITIONS
-
By booking a class, event, workshop, retreat, private session, online offering or other service with Yoga with Kendra, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
These terms are intended to help create a safe, respectful and transparent experience for everyone practising with Yoga with Kendra.
Personal Belongings
Participants are responsible for their own belongings when attending classes, retreats, workshops or events. Yoga with Kendra cannot guarantee the security of personal items brought to a venue.
Respectful & Safe Environment
Yoga with Kendra aims to provide an inclusive, welcoming and respectful environment.
Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward teachers, other participants, venue staff and the spaces in which sessions take place.
Yoga with Kendra reserves the right to refuse participation or ask someone to leave where behaviour is unsafe, seriously disruptive, abusive or inappropriate.
-
Studio classes, workshops, events, retreats and other offerings may have individual cancellation policies outlined at the time of booking. Where a specific cancellation policy is provided for an event or retreat, that policy will take precedence.
For regular studio classes, cancellations should be made at least 2 hours before the scheduled class. Late cancellations and non-attendance may be non-refundable or result in the class being deducted from a class pass or membership.
Retreats, workshops, special events, corporate bookings and private sessions may require deposits or advance payment. Deposits may be non-refundable where clearly stated at the time of booking.
Yoga with Kendra reserves the right to cancel, postpone or amend a class, event or retreat due to unforeseen circumstances, illness, insufficient numbers, venue issues or circumstances outside reasonable control. Where Yoga with Kendra cancels an offering, participants will be offered an appropriate refund, credit or alternative date depending on the circumstances and their applicable legal rights.
Specific terms may apply to individual retreats, workshops and events, including payment schedules, deposits, cancellation deadlines and refund arrangements. These will be communicated during the booking process.
Participants are responsible for reviewing what is and is not included before booking, including accommodation, meals, transport and activities where relevant.
Where a retreat or event involves third-party accommodation, catering, activities or venues, those providers may operate under their own terms and conditions.
Participants are responsible for arranging suitable travel insurance where appropriate, particularly for retreats involving travel or significant advance costs.
-
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland.
Nothing within these terms is intended to exclude or restrict any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under Irish or applicable EU consumer law.
Participants are responsible for providing accurate information when making a booking and for ensuring that the service they book is suitable for them.
Yoga with Kendra reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions when necessary. The terms applicable to a booking will be those made available at the relevant time, subject to any mandatory legal rights.
-
Yoga involves physical movement, stretching, strengthening, balance, breathwork, meditation and relaxation practices. As with any physical activity, participation carries an inherent risk of injury.
By choosing to participate, you confirm that you are taking part voluntarily and agree to practise within your own abilities.
You are encouraged to inform Kendra of any relevant injuries, pregnancy, recent surgery or other circumstances that may affect your participation before beginning a session. Where appropriate, you should seek advice from a suitably qualified healthcare professional before participating.
You are always welcome to rest, modify a posture or stop participating at any stage.
Any waiver or acknowledgement used as part of the booking process forms part of these Terms & Conditions. Nothing in a waiver excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
Pregnancy & Postnatal Yoga
Participants attending prenatal or postnatal yoga should disclose their pregnancy or postnatal status and any relevant medical considerations before participating.
Yoga with Kendra may recommend obtaining approval from a doctor, midwife, physiotherapist or other appropriate healthcare professional where necessary.
Participants should stop practising and seek appropriate medical advice if they experience pain, dizziness, bleeding, unusual shortness of breath or any other concerning symptoms.
-
Yoga with Kendra provides yoga, breathwork, meditation, relaxation and wellbeing services for general wellness purposes.
These services are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any medical or psychological condition and should not be considered a substitute for professional medical, physiotherapy, psychological or other healthcare advice.
Instructions and modifications are offered as general guidance. Every body and individual is different, and participants remain responsible for deciding whether a movement or practice is appropriate for them.
-
When participating in recorded or live online yoga, breathwork, meditation or Yoga Nidra sessions, you are responsible for ensuring that you have a safe and suitable space in which to practise.
Online instruction cannot provide the same level of observation or individual adjustment as an in-person session. You should practise within your own abilities, follow modifications where appropriate and stop if you experience pain or feel unwell.
Memberships, subscriptions and digital content are for the personal use of the registered member unless otherwise stated. Videos, recordings, written materials and other digital content may not be copied, recorded, reproduced, shared, resold or distributed without permission.
Where an online membership renews automatically, the price, billing frequency and cancellation arrangements will be made clear before purchase.

Unless otherwise stated, class passes and memberships are for the named participant and may not be transferred or shared.
Membership cancellation and renewal terms will be provided before purchase
